Established in 1989 by John and Judy Burford, the vineyard is located north of Mt Franklin 500 meters off the midland highway between Daylesford and Castlemaine and adjacent to the Upper Loddon state forest.

Located off the Midland Highway between Daylesford and Castlemaine, we are approximately 1 hour from Melbourne and close to the Central Highland Spa Region and Taste of Gold Food and Wine Trails.

The vineyard is approximately 6.5 acres with the rows running in a North South direction between sandstone rocky reefs. The soil is mainly grey slaty loam with patches of clay subsoil and minimum layers of top soil.
