Rosé Wine

Our 2020 Rose vintage has turned out great. Made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot fruit, the wine displays a lovely light pink colour. In addition to light red berries there are hints of apple on the bouquet. Good balance and depth of flavour on the palate leads to a clean long dry finish.

2020 Releases

We have now released our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2017 Shiraz  is still available.

Our popular 2020 Rosè is also available.

Our 2019 Chardonnay is now available and selling well.

We also have a lovely 2019 Sauvignon Blanc wine available at our cellar door made by our friend and local winemaking legend Ron Snep.

2020 Year

The 2020 vintage was an extremely tough one. The vines were growing nicely and the harvest was looking good. Unfortunately we were raided by a number of four legged creatures in the early hours of the morning. The wild deer stripped the vines of all the foliage and grapes and left us with nothing in the Cabernet Sauvignon block and one of our Shiraz blocks. Our Tempranillo and Merlot fruit escaped any dangers and the wine is now maturing awaiting bottling early next year.

Our 2019 lightly wooded Chardonnay is available and selling well.

The 2020 Rosè made from Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from our friends, Arthur and Lynette Chapple’s vineyard at lake Cairn Curran combined with a little of our Merlot is available and a pleasure to drink.

Our full bodied 2017 Estate Shiraz, 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2017 Cabernet Merlot blend continue to sell well.

Come visit us and try our wines. You won’t be disappointed.
